About 14K gold vermeil:

Gold vermeil jewelry contains a thick layer of real gold. It is a durable, long-lasting precious metal with the prettiest light gold tone. To create gold vermeil jewelry, multiple layers of solid gold are pressure-bonded to a core of high-quality jeweler’s brass using extreme heat. Gold vermeil metals are at least 15 times more expensive than plated gold materials. Unlike gold plated metals, gold vermeil metal price depends on the market value of gold at the time of purchase.

Will gold vermeil ever tarnish?

Gold vermeil can tarnish naturally over time, but it’s easily cleaned. If using a polishing cloth, it should be used LIGHTLY and not pressed hard against the metal to remove tarnish, as it could rub off the gold on your piece over time.

I loved the packaging, it felt like an experience in and of itself. Topped with a beautiful necklace. It looks just like the product photo, the chain is a little too small for my neck but that’s okay. I got it for my stuffed plush to wear. She looks so cute with it on.

While staring at this beautiful necklace and reading the enclosures, thinking about my cats both past and present, it occurred to me, I am the small circle. The packaging is perfect the necklace circles are beveled so they sparkle. It's just beautiful.

I absolutely love the necklace, and wear it every day as a tribute the relationship I had with my pet. It's a little thin, and I worry about breaking the chain, so I don't wear it to sleep or shower, but I'm 100% happy with the it.
